Nuskin has revolutionized the anti-aging industry with their flagship product called AgeLoc. It’s available as a skin care and as a vitamin supplement. It’s the only one of its kind and they owned the patents to it, making this product uniques to them. They have a whole range of skin care products and vitamin supplements under their pharmanex brand. Their best-sellers include the Ageloc galvanic spa and the ageloc vitality. So, if you’re looking for anti-aging products that target the sources of aging, Nuskin has it. NuSkin provides in-house training for all their new distributors. They offer monthly live trainings at their headquarters in Provo, Utah called the Team Elite University. They also have, daily wake up calls, Saturday Millionaire Training circle and Sunday Training calls. They seem to have spectacular training judging from the lists.
However, its built around the concept of traditional network marketing. Now, I don’t look down on this concept of building your network marketing business offline. Huge organizations are built this way and I could make an endless lists of names who built and made lots of money building their MLM business this way.
But things have change, so does marketing your business in the 21st century. You need to be marketing online as well to reach a wider range. We’ll talk about this below. So continue reading.

I’m going to summarize it into the following 5 key points:
1. Market Trends
As you can see on the graph, Nuskin is targeting the huge baby-boomer population. So they seem to have a market to sell their anti-aging products to.
2. Exclusive Products & Technologies
Nuskin pride themselves in owning patented rights to their anti-aging products that provide visual and emotional experience because they claim that you can actually see a difference after using their anti-aging products. Hence, their logo, “the difference demonstrated”. Their products are also consumable and plays a big part in their sales.
3. World Class Partnerships
NuSkin boasts as the “premier anti-aging company with over 75 scientists and a partnerships with the 3 leading university researches in the country.
They are also partnered with the “Force for Good Foundation” which is a non-profit organization benefiting the children of Malawi and eradicating death due to malnutrition for children.
4. Proven Compensation Plan
Nuskin has paid millions to their distributors due to their generous compensation plan and which you get if you have a huge organization or downlines. Not just 100′s, but 1000′s.
5. Timing
According to this graph, NuSkin projects a big growth for the coming years giving their distributors hope to make a lot money with the company. The question is, how relevant it is in this down economy? They have an answer to that, too. Survey says that people actually buy more cosmetics even in a down economy.
As you can see, NuSkin as a network marketing opportunity is a perfect vehicle for wealth creation and building residual income by leveraging the works of a huge organization and massive team-building which is only achieve by the few.
But as perfect as it may seem, the problem for the majority of their distributors lies in the way the company is teaching them on how to build the nuskin business. They are teaching the traditional way of building it, for example by calling friends and family, colleagues, genealogists, etc.
Now there is nothing wrong with that concept. There’s thousands of distributors inside NuSkin who built their business this way and have made significant success with it. But for the majority, like the 97% of their distributors, hardly make any money at all. Why?
